After Glacier, we booked it up to Waterton National Park, just across the Canadian border from Glacier. On the way, we spotted our first black bear wandering down the road! Waterton was much less busy than Glacier but half the park was closed due to flooding earlier in the summer (this would be the case for many places in the Canadian parks) and the campground we wanted to stay in was closed due to a fiesty black bear stealing toast and knocking down tents. Camped outside the park, which was still nice. The Whales Hotel is an icon and we had a beer there and then hung out on the beach by the lake. Ahhhhh.
