Random day walks and beaches, Southern Tasmania

I don't normally talk about the details of life in this blog but it seemed necessary here to explain the jump from Belize to Tasmania.  I managed to get a 2-year contract with the Australian Antarctic Division based in Hobart so we moved back after the Belize vacation.  We got here in late April, which is not the best time to arrive since winter is just starting and there's a lot of cold and damp ahead.  That said, we are happy to be back and it's been fun to check out some of the places we used to love, as well as suss out some new spots.  These are some pictures from random weekend wanderings this winter so far.
