Los Perros Camp to Glacier Grey Camp and out of the park

Luckily for us, the morning we wanted to go over the pass was clear.  It was a steep climb and got pretty windy at the top but holy moly are the views from the pass worth it.  The vista back down toward Los Perros is beautiful alpine terrain but the view on the other side of the pass is of the absolutely huge Glacier Grey.  This blue monster is almost 4 miles wide.  It flows off of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, which is the second largest (almost 6500 square miles) contiguous non-polar ice field.  The scale of this thing is mind boggling, especially given that there are green trees growing along the edges of it.

From the pass, it's a very steep decent to Paso Camp and a full day's walk above the glacier.  From Paso Camp, we continued on to camp near Refugio Grey and then made our way to Paine Grande for a return boat trip across Lago Pehoe.
Glacier Grey ends in Lago Grey.
