Marble Point

Not sure why several of my pictures are all stuck together but the upload speeds here are so slow that the thought of deleting them and uploading again makes me want to throw myself into the ocean.  So, bear with me.  Over New Years, Jeff was at Marble Point for two weeks, taking care of fueling up helicopters.  Marble point is a field station for helicopters to fuel up on their way to/from the dry valley.  Luckily, two other wasties and I got to have an overnight trip there to check out their waste setup and visit.  It's lovely and all who go wish they could stay longer.  Note the shark fin in the melt pond (first picture) - he he.

Diana (Jeff's co-worker) and some cool
geology!  (the flag is to ward off territorial skuas).
