Reykjanes and Isafjordur, Westfjords, Iceland June 6th and 7th

Litlibaer, northern westfjords
At Litlibaer in the northern Westfjords, we stopped for scones and coffee at a tiny little house in the middle of nowhere and saw whales breaching in the fjord while sipping hot drinks.  I could have stayed there all day....  Then we headed up to Unadsdalur (on the west side of the eastern peninsula) and attempted to hike out to that glacier Jeff and Eric are eyeing up in the distance.  It was farther than it looked.

Finally made it to the town of Reykjanes, where we camped at an old school that had a 50 meter pool fed by the local hot spring.  Too hot to swim laps but the view was killer.

Biggest hot spring pool ever!
And we had it all to ourselves!
