This was hands down the best day of the trip. With a lot of luck on the timing, we managed to make it to Thorsmork in our beater. There are numerous river crossings on the road but due to the cold weather, the water was low and since we didn't care about abusing the rental, we were able to make it there. Thorsmork is the most beautiful area. I wish we would've camped a night there but one warm day and we could be stuck there. There are glaciers in every valley, narrow canyons and waterfalls galore. Magic!
