Reykjavik, Iceland May 26th

Old building in Reykjavik.

Jeff, Eric Scott and I were disgorged from the red-eye at 6:45 am (12:45 pm Denver time) and made a b-line for the hotel but only dropped off our stuff cause check in time is not until 4pm.  We decided to try to push through the jet lag and see the sights in Reykjavik, which may have been a mistake.  By noon, we were all walking zombies and I would have given Jeff and Eric both $100 to let me sleep on the floor of the cool concert hall building.  It was cold and blowing a gale there.  Long underwear, hats, mittens and every warm item of clothing we had were required.  Finally, we checked in and got some blissful sleep.  They even had bacon infused cheese at breakfast.  Maybe the food here is not as bad as we heard!
