Well, it's still raining. But the good news is that WE SOLD BURNIE!!!! Can you believe it? To an ex-mechanic and we didn't even tell him any lies about the car. He (as was the mechanic who last worked on the van) seemed unconcerned about the piston slap and has entered into a “gentlemen's agreement” with Jeffrey about the impending sale. He's coming up to Perth to pick up the thing tomorrow and so we are going to rent another van and take up off north for some sun.
Jeff is as hairy as ever and says he's shaving to celebrate the occasion. Here's a picture of him just before he buzzed the beard.
Also, some more pictures of algal mats that make rocks over millions of years cause we are geologist dorks and totally dig the stromatolites. Not to worry, we are checking out more up north so more hot action shots of the little buggers to come!
