The east coast of Tasmania is my happy place. It's gorgeous and usually sunny and the beaches....oh the beaches! Once you pass Triabunna on the road north (A3), it just keeps getting better and better the further north you go. We always stop at the first beaches you get close to (Spiky Beach is a good one) for a walk and to take in the view of the Freycinet peninsula in the distance. There's nothing around but farms and sheep and you often have the place to yourself. Amazing.
