Katie, a lovely friend of mine from college found me on FB and after some chatting, she decided to come visit.  It was fantastic having her around.  On my weekend off, we headed to Many Glacier and backpacked out to the spot where Jeff and his crew were hitched up.  The weather was rough - rainy and pretty cold - but the camp spot was just below Feather Plume falls in the Cataract Creek Valley.  We had a fun night around the camp fire, complete with guitar and harmonica playing and some singing too, courtesy of Jeff's crew leader Isaak (who is the singer for the band The Best Westerns).  It was just lovely.

The next day, we hiked up to Morning Star Falls and gorged on huckleberries, wild raspberries and thimble berries as we hiked our way back to the car.
