While we were on vacation in South America, we managed to both get summer jobs working on trail crews in Glacier National Park. Pretty lucky considering there aren't many trail jobs available but Jeff had done it before so that helped. It's a huge park and we have been assigned to two different crews, living about an hour apart. We drove up to Montana from Colorado and spent the first couple of weekends off hanging in my neck of the woods: the Two Medicine District. I live in the tiny town of East Glacier, in a decent house assigned to me by the park service. I have my own room but will share the place with another female park service employee or two over the summer. It's a change but my place is nice. Jeff is based out of Many Glacier and lives in a house with some younger guys on his crew.
