Well, one thing about Sardinia is that the breakfasts tend to be interesting, if nothing else. We found a happy B&B on the east coast of Sardinia and they served us home made cookies for breakfast! Also checked out the "Grand Canyon of Europe" (aka Su Goruppu), which was pretty amazing. Maybe I'm not quite as burned out on travel as I thought - a good hike always brings me back to my happy place.
