Scenic Point Trail and Continental Divide Trail from Lubec Trailhead

We spent time on and off in the southern portion of the park, where a range of peaks runs east to west along the border of the park.  This area is where the Continental Divide Trail enters the park on the south end.  Visitors are infrequent and much of the trail is though high brush and dense forest.  When you get up on the hillsides though, things get beautiful.   The trail to Firebrand pass is stunning once you leave the flatlands and there's no one else around.

One of my favorite trails in my district (Two Medicine) is the Scenic Point Trail.  You climb right up out of the forest and within 20 minutes you are getting amazing views of the Two Medicine Valley.  It's an 8 mile round trip with about 2300' of gain so a bit of huff and puff required but it's worth it!
