Dive Camp

Seal/Skua stare down
More seals!  This time we headed to a dive hut on the sea ice, where the science group we share a lab with were diving.  They are studying the impact of humans on the environment and this spot was a background sampling location.  As an added bonus, there were seals hanging out around the dive hut, including a newborn!

This baby is brand new - like hours old.

suit - those are seals in the
background.

about the find.

There's some crazy stuff
crawling around under there.

Helping with a giant, very slimy worm.

Scientists doin' their thing.
