We also squeezed in a quick snowmobile trip up to a part of the volcano called fumerole ridge. There's a line that bisects the volcano that has a lot of venting. The venting causes big fumeroles to build up. It's not safe to get very close but they are still stunning from afar. Some of these are 50+ feet high!
