Yet another weekend trip. We took off to Kia Iwi (a beautiful inland lake with a huge white sand beach) and then across to the Bay of Islands. No pictures from the Bay of Islands unfortunatly. Although they have some wineries here and probably a very lovely coast, the torrential multi-day storm we saw it though did not help with picture taking. Our trip home was via the east coast. There are some beautiful coastal areas between the Bay of Islands and Auckland, including Whangarei Heads and Bream Bay.
