The Pacific Ocean. It's awesome and frankly, I'm pretty excited to be living somewhere with mountains AND ocean again. Christchurch is no Hobart though. Waves here are big and surfy - no lovely river to sail in. I do miss sailing with our Hobart gang. This day was lovely and the beach here is great. Dogs running, horses galloping, people biking, surfers out in the water. Good stuff. My coworker Warren and I headed to the beach at North New Brighton for a bit of brunch and a walk on the beach. What a gorgeous day. Thanks for the fresh ocean air and the escape from town!
